Angela Lo was born on January 9, 1992 and was first introduced to the piano at the age of five by her mother. At seven, Angela began formal piano lessons with Tania Papayannapoulou. Currently, she is under the instruction of renowned concert pianist Professor Morton Estrin.
She also started playing the violin at nine years of age with the Children's Orchestra Society and is presently under the tutelage of Roberta Kaufman Stalzer: This year will be the fourth season Angela has performed as a violinist with the South Shore Symphony of Rockville Centre, under the baton of Scott Jackson Wiley. This upcoming December, Angela will be performing with the String Orchestra during the 2008 All-State Winter Conference in Rochester. For the past six years, Angela has also been under the vocal instruction of Charlene Berry.
Angela is in her junior year at Sacred Heart Academy and is a member of the instrumental ensemble and chorus.
She believes that one of the greatest joys in life may just be found in the simplest of melodies. And she hopes that music will somehow reach and heal everyone's hearts and minds.
